Things to see and do  

While being minutes from Old town of Altea and nestled between the Algar River, you are never too far from being in tune with nature. The old town has a lot of charm and character, you could spend some time visiting the old town and its various buildings including the Chapel of Santa Barbara. While making your rounds through the village be sure to visit the two drinking fountains that provide fresh and cold water. The Font Gran and the Font del Garroferet both are great to visit and experience.

Do you like outdoor activities? You could take a hike on the Sierra Bernia which gives you great views of the entire bay and surrounding neighborhood. Its about a 20 minute drive to beginning of one of the most popular trails which takes you to Fort Bernia. You could also go down to La Olla beach and rent a kayak or  sup board and paddle to the surrounding islands. You could also enjoy a nice relaxing day at the beautiful beach and sunbathe.

Altea is known for having hundreds if not thousands of restaurants that offer some of the best service and quality of food in Spain. From Paella to a quick fish and chips from a local restaurants “menu”  I can guarantee you you will find something you like and will fall in love with.

Renting in Altea La Vella

We have a beautiful luxury apartment that is available for long-term or short-term rental. Situated atop of a hill providing you with beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra Helada. Located by the Golf club Don Cayo (which features a 9 hole course, gorgeous views and well maintained courses) which for avid golfers is a great location with exceptional staff and facility.  

This apartment features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, community swimming pool and fitness center. Huge covered terrace perfect for  watching the sunrise during breakfast or the sunset during your dinners. If you love to entertain guest you could most definitely fit a larger table out on the patio or bring them inside to the spacious living room.

If you are the entertaining kind of host the apartment is also stocked with a state of the art open layout kitchen which allows you to move around and have the comfort of extra counter space and access for guest to enjoy and chat.  Weather you’re looking for a long term stay or short term stay, you have enough space in the kitchen to live comfortably regardless of the length of your visit.  The kitchen does have a dish washer, oven, stovetop and full size fridge to make your stay a lot easier.
